Features Added
This event focused on adding quality-of-life updates, but also modified crucial parts of Team Events. The update version(s) for this event correspond to, respectively, 1.7.2.
Full update log below:
- Changes to Team Event Results:
- Replies posted during a Team Event will now be counted towards the Team's Score.
- Changes to Top 10 Leaderboards:
- Replies will now count towards the total of "posts made" in Leaderboards. From now on to all the remaining Team Events, posts and replies will be added together. Does not affect older leaderboards;
- When viewing leaderboards for older events, you're now able to view which team you were at, even though you may not be in the Top 10.
- Added badges for participating on this specific Team Event.
- Bug fixes and/or Improvements:
- When a comment preview happened on a post from someone that wasn't on the same team as the original comment poster, their team color would be from the comment poster's team. This glitch has been present since the Day vs. Night: The Battle event and has been finally fixed;
- The specific website theme that may apply during certain Team Events have been fixed on mobile devices, since it would still display the "normal" background on mobile devices.
Top 10 Leaderboard
Because of internal issues with the Post + Reply count, the leaderboards still aren't available, but the results are.
BOUNCING acknowledged the problem on the results post for this event.
History
This event was announced on February 23rd 2024, and was planned to happen on February, but got rescheduled to March 1st 2024.[1]
Trivia
- This is the second shortest Metabouncii event (the first event was Ice Cream Battle), lasting about 2 days and 2 hours.
- This event had a unique decoration on the website, similar to Metaristmas 2023. Included purple stars falling on all pages.
- This event had a special logo, just like Metaristmas 2023 and Metabouween 2023.
- This is the first special team event that wasn't made in a commemorative holiday date.
